Each year, in Great Britain, the Fire & Rescue Service is called out to thousands of house fires.
Thanks to the dedication and bravery of their staff, they save thousands of lives every year.
Unfortunately, some people cannot be saved.

There are many things that you can do to prevent fires in your home. By following the fire plan (page 28) and making
sure that your parents and family do too, you can greatly reduce the risk of fire in your home.
